TOWN OF LA VALLE
Annual Meeting Minutes
April 13, 2010
- Chairman Brey called the meeting to order 7:00 p.m.
2. Chairman Brey introduced the newly elected board member, Jim Brandt, Supervisor II
- Chairman Brey stated the powers of an annual meeting
- Minutes from the April 14, 2010 Annual Meeting were read by Clerk Radtke.
- A motion was made by Jim Lucht, seconded by Jim Brandt: To approve the minutes as read
Motion carried by a show of hands 13 aye, 0 nay
- Clerk Radtke and Treasurer Geitz gave an overview of the 2009 Financial Statement.
- A motion was made by Connie Hartje, seconded by Jim Mercier: To approve the 2009 Financial Statement as presented.
Motion carried by show of hands 13 aye, 0 nay
- Chairman Brey gave an overview of road work to be done in the town in 2010, noting the difficulty of budget constraints and maintaining the town’s infrastructure.
9. Supervisor Vaillancourt gave a presentation of the town’s web site
10. Police Officer Joe Prantner gave a demonstration of the taser weapon now being carried by town officers.
11. Supervisor Vaillancourt reviewed the accomplishments of the Plan Commission, Lake Committee and the Town Board.
- A motion was made by Beverly Vaillancourt, seconded by Josh Ziegler: To set the date for the 2011 Annual Meeting April 12, 2011 at 7:00 pm.
Motion carried 13 aye, 0 nay
- A Motion was made by Josh Ziegler, seconded by Connie Hartje: To adjourn
Motion carried voice vote all aye.
