- Discuss revisiting ordinance number 94-1
- Discuss fees for large items, couches, mattresses, hot tubs and etc
- Discuss permit identification cards
- Discuss sign in sheet for town residents at recycling site
- Discuss hiring back up personnel
- Discuss update recycling brochures for distribution at the Recycling Site.
- Discuss compactor cycle times, schedule for compactor pick-up
- Southwest Recycling- Discuss any new issues or changes-Bill Meeks
- Rudnick Metal-Discuss any new issues or changes-Eric
- Cost for electronics, Freon items, tires.
- Discuss areas to keep clean at the recycling site.
- Public Input.
- Adjourn.
It is possible that members of and possible a quorum of members of the Town Board may be in attendance at the above stated-meeting to gather information; no action will be taken by any governmental body at the above-stated meeting other than the governmental body specifically referred to above in this notice.

What are the hours of the Town of La Valle Recycling
November 1st - March 31st April 1st - October 31st Winter Hours Spring/Summer/Fall Saturday 8:00-Noon Wednesday 1:00-5:00 Sunday 1:00 -4:00 Saturday 8-Noon Wednesday 1st & 3rd Sunday 1:00-5:00 of the month 1:00p.m.-4:00 p.m.

Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekend Recycling Tires, Freon products, You must purchase a prepaid tag for these items at the Clerk’s office during regular business hours. No money will be exchanged at the Recycling Site. Electronics: TV’s, VCR’s Radios, Computers, etc.- $5.00 ea. Freon Products: Refrigerators, Air Conditioners etc. $10.00 ea. Tires: Light Trucks and Cars- $2.00 ea. Tires: Large Truck and Tractor tires-$15.00 ea. *Electronics: TV's, VCR's Radios, Computers are accepted with a prepaid tag everyday the Recycling Center is open.

Don't mix your aluminum cans with your trash.
*Do your part by keeping your aluminum cans seperate from the trash! These bags will go to the Village Firework's fund.

Can I take Cardboard?
Yes, It all goes into the cardboard compactor.

I have glass items what can I recycle? You can recycle Jars & Bottles Only Light bulbs, dishes, cookware, or glasses, windows or mirror glass CANNOT be recycled.
How to Prepare: Remove lids, rinse clean, clear, greeen and brown glass only. You do not have to remove labels on glass. Place lids with regular garbage, Remove metal rings.

Can I recycle Aluminum?
Yes, the Town of La Valle Recycling does accept Aluminum Cans Only, No foil, pie plates.
How to Prepare:
Drain all liquid, Rinse clean.

I am confused about what Plastic items I can recycle. please clarify, what I can recycling.
Recycling can be confusing, we do accept containers marked on the bottom with 1 or 2. Normally soda and clear liquid bottles. However not all bottles marked 1 or 2 are acceptable at this time.
How to Prepare: Remove lids, Rinse clean, Crush containers. When in doubt please ask the staff. No containers used for medicine, oil, or chemical (e.g. motor oil or antifreeze) can be recycled.

I have a Air-Conditioner that does not work can I take this to the Drop Off Site, Is there a charge?
We accept Freon Appliances on Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekends Only There is a charge of $10.00 for each item. (Air-Conditioners, Refrigerators, Freezer, Dehumidifiers any other appliances with Freon in them.)
