- Discuss issuing recycling center identification cards, yearly id stickers and/or sign in sheets for town residents.
- Discuss possible sign posted restricting under age 18 by compactors
- Discuss posting signs employees or personnel only operating compactors.
- Discuss revisiting ordinance number 94-1
- Discuss possible magnetic sign for compactors depending on cost
- Discuss hiring back up personnel if needed.
- Discuss recycling job description
- Discussion and Input to improve appearance of recycling site.
- Discuss recreating recycling handout brochures at Recycling Site.
- Discuss handouts for Clean Sweep Oct 1, 2011. 8:30 - Noon
- Discuss use of earplugs when compactors are in motion
- Discuss cycle times per shift.
- Public Input.
- Adjourn.

- Discuss installation and cost of electric power at the Recycle Center with Russel & Debra Stout.
- Discuss how to manage items in good condition that are dropped off at the Recycle Center.
- Discuss all cost for installing compactors.
- Discuss Runicks contract.
- Discuss collection of freon products and tires for Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekends.
- Discuss collection of fees at Recycling Center for Memorial Day and Labor Day.
- Discuss schedules for back up employees for the Recycling Center.
- Adjourn

Recycling Committee
April 18, 2011
In attendance: Committee members: Josh Ziegler, Jim Brandt, Karen Geitz
Attendees: Bev Vaillancourt, Russell Stout,
Start 2:00 p.m.
1) Adopt posted agenda Motion by Jim second by Karen
2) Discussed installation of power to Recycle Center with Russel Stout. Russel
commented on a few things #1 that he would like
· the gate moved back and remove the roadway fencing so he could drive across his land and not have to go around
· He would like some wire put fence put up to keep garbage from blowing on to his land.
· Have a small sign on gate with hours.#4 Have a 4x8 sign close to the road with
hours
· Input on where the best place for the sign would be when we get the power
run.
The committee discussed where the best place a light would be put in the future ...If nessary.
If paper & garbage continues to be an issue we will discuss it with him in the future. The committee agreed to Russell Stout’s requests and he agreed to let the town pull electrical wires to the Recycling Center on the north side of the right away.
3) We discussed removal of items from the drop off site. We decided to discussed this at the next meeting.
4) We discussed Approval of the 1 year Contract from Runicks with the whole
board.
5) We talked about a new policy on collection of fees for Freon & tires at the
Recycling Center for Memorial Day and Labor Day.
6) We talked about Schedules for back up employees & decided to table this
till next meeting.
Motion to Adjourn by Jim, seconded by Karen. Adjourned at 3:17 p.m.
